Criteria for Award of Medal

The students completing each program of the Undergraduate / Postgraduate Programs in one attempt and having at least 75% attendance shall be considered to be eligible for the medals.

If the topper student does not fulfill the above requirements, the medal shall be awarded to the next student in merit.

• Gold Medals to be given to first Rank Holder in each Program. The University shall award a gold medal to the most outstanding graduate (First Topper) in each program Engineering and Non-Engineering
• Silver Medals to given to 2nd Rank Holder in each program. The University shall award a silver medal to the most outstanding graduate (Second Topper) in each program Engineering and Non-Engineering.
• Bronze Medals to be given to 3rd rank Holder in each program, if the number of students in such program is more than 30.
• Chancellor’s Trophy – This is the most coveted award of the University. The criteria for selecting the winner will be formulated by the Scholarships and Award Committee. ( The student whose performance is best in the academic as well as extra- curricular, co-curricular and other activities taken together shall be awarded chancellor’s trophy, one each for male and female student).
