Admission Process

Application to Galgotias University

Online Application

  • The application form can be downloaded from the University website: galgotiasuniversity.edu.in.
  • The completed application form, along with all necessary documents, should be emailed to international.office@galgotiasuniversity.edu.in.

Application in Person

  • The applicant must bring all original documents, along with two photocopies of each document.
  • The applicant should also carry two passport-size photographs.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application is complete in all respects and that all information provided in connection with the application is authentic and accurate.

Documents Required for Processing the Application

  • Completed application form with photograph
  • 10th Standard transcript of marks (‘O’ Level mark sheet)
  • 12th Standard transcript of marks (‘A’ Level mark sheet)
  • Graduation mark sheets (all semesters) and degree/passing certificate (for PG admissions)
  • Post Graduation mark sheets (all semesters) and degree/passing certificate (for PhDadmissions)
  • Attested photocopy of a valid passport
  • Equivalence Certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) in support of the applicant’s qualifications

The student is required to deposit a one-time Admission Fee of USD 300 for Non-SAARC Countries and INR 30,000 for SAARC Countries to confirm admission after receiving the offer letter. 

Upon receipt of the admission fee, the university will issue the Provisional Admission-cum-Visa Letter.

After obtaining the visa, the student may pay the remaining tuition and examination fees at the time of registration or before.

Payment Procedure (Through Bank Transfer / SWIFT / NEFT / RTGS)

International students may transfer the required fees to the University’s bank account, as mentioned in the admission or offer letter.

If the bank requires a fee structure or dues document for the transfer process, the student may obtain it from the International Relations Office (IRO) by sending an email to international.office@galgotiasuniversity.edu.in.

After transferring the required fees to the University’s bank account, the student must submit the proof of payment to the IRO so that the paid fee can be updated in the iCloud system.

Any bank transaction charges or deductions incurred while transferring the fees to the University’s bank account will be borne by the student.

The University will record the amount actually received in its bank account, and if there is any difference due to bank deductions or charges, the student will be required to deposit the remaining amount accordingly

Completion of Admission 

The student may complete the final admission process and payment of tuition fees upon arrival, provided this is done before the commencement of the academic session.

The student is required to submit original documents to the International Office for verification. These documents must include the AIU Equivalence Certificate, Medical Certificate, and other required academic documents.

The student must report at least one week before the commencement of the program in order to complete all admission formalities and attend the orientation program.

Once travel arrangements are finalized, the student should email the flight details, including arrival date and time. The student may also contact the office by email or phone to confirm that the arrival information has been received.

Upon arrival at the airport, pickup assistance will be arranged and the student will be taken to the accommodation. Please note that the cost of airport transportation will be borne by the student.
