✈️ Before You Travel

🛂 Visa & Travel

• Obtain a valid Student Visa from the Indian Embassy/High Commission
• Book your flight to Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi (approx. 1 hour from campus)

🩺 Health & Wellbeing

• Recommended vaccinations:
• Yellow Fever
• Typhoid
• Hepatitis
• Carry medical records and prescriptions (if applicable)

🚖 Airport Pickup

• Share flight details with IRO at least 72 hours before arrival
• Airport transfer available (charges applicable)

📄 Documents to Carry

• Admission Letter
• Academic Certificates & Transcripts
• Valid Passport & Student Visa
• Additional documents as per offer letter

💳 Financial Preparedness

• Carry sufficient funds for initial expenses
• Cash (as per Government regulations) and/or international debit/credit cards

• Summer: 30°C – 45°C
• Winter: 5°C – 25°C
• Carry appropriate seasonal clothing

🎒 Personal Essentials

• Carry essentials for initial days
• Additional items available on campus and nearby

• Carry adapters if needed

🏠 Accommodation

• Submit request via email
• Complete booking with fee
• Allocation on first-come, first-served basis

🛬 Upon Arrival in India

🚐 Airport Arrival & Transfer

Students with confirmed pickup will be received at the airport and transported to campus.

🏢 Report to International Relations Office (IRO)

• Report on the same or next working day
• During working hours
• Carry all original documents

📝 Registration Process

• Document verification by IRO
• Completion of registration formalities
• Duration: 2–3 working days

🎓 Orientation & Support

• Introduction to IRO services
• University policies & academic guidelines
• Campus facilities and student support

📚 Academic Integration

• Admission number allocation
• Department & coordinator guidance

🌐 FRRO Registration (Mandatory)

• Required within 14 days of arrival (except Nepal & Bhutan)
