ADVANCED GEOTECHNICAL AND EARTH SCIENCE CENTER
The Advanced Geotechnical and Earth Science Centre at the university has achieved a significant milestone with the establishment of its Center of Excellence (CoE), designed to deliver a comprehensive approach to soil and rock mechanics. The facility goes beyond routine testing to support high-precision forensic engineering, advanced research, and real-world infrastructure applications. Equipped with state-of-the-art testing systems, including triaxial testing, consolidation analysis, strength evaluation, and rock mechanics facilities, the centre enables accurate assessment of soil behavior, foundation stability, and material performance. With capabilities spanning foundation engineering, infrastructure safety, earthworks quality control, material characterization, and seepage analysis, the CoE also serves as a hub for industry consultancy and collaborative research, empowering students, researchers, and industry partners with reliable data for safe and sustainable infrastructure development.
