B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialization in Robotics & Automation

Program Overview

An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Automation. The branch of Robotics and Automation involves design, development and operation of operation of Robotics and production / Assembly lines in Industries. The branch is a multi disciplinary one involving traditional branches like Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and advanced areas like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The millennial students, who are ready to challenge Artificial Super Intelligence and Cyber Physical Systems are welcome to join the program on Robotics and Automation to relish their dreams of developing COBOTS and interacting with machines.

B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Electronics & Communication Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing scientists and technologists of the highest caliber. The ever challenging needs of technological excellence in all the major areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering such as Communication Engineering, VLSI Design, Robotics, microprocessors & microcontrollers, digital and analog electronics, mobile and computer networks, biomedical instrumentation, digital signal & image processing, Integrated electronics and circuits, network & systems, measurements & instrumentation motivate to opt  Electronics & Communication Engineering one of the most chosen branches of Engineering & Technology. The Electronics & Communication Engineering stream, which is very relevant to the requirement of modern fast developing industries, is the evergreen branch. Extensive  project based learning is embedded in curricula to enhance technical skills of students as per industry needs.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering offers a regular four year B. Tech. program in Electronics & Communication  Engineering as well as post graduate program in  Communication Engineering and VLSI Design . In addition to the strong undergraduate program in  Electronics & Communication Engineering, the department has world class infrastructure & teaching facilities. The infrastructure and lab facilities are up to the international standards and provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to learn and innovate the technological skills. The department has distinguished faculty profile with educations background from reputed/premier institutes

The faculty of the department has been constantly carrying out research on many cutting edge technologies and regularly publish papers in IEEE and other top international journals. The department also plans to undertake many research projects sponsored by both the government and the industry.

Program Overview: The Internet of things (IoT) is the inter-networking of physical devices, smart vehicle, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. This technology connects devices to each other, and to the people who use it in their daily life. IoT is among the newest innovations in the field of information technology. It’s all set to create a huge wave and change the way we receive information. Leading business organizations have started focussing on the opportunities thrown up by Internet of Things; therefore, companies are in search of professionals who have strong foundational knowledge in the concepts of Internet of Things. This programme aims to train students to be equipped with a solid theoretical foundation, systematic professional knowledge and strong practical skills in the fields of electronics engineering, computer technology and communications networks, that underpin a wide range of applications in the Internet of Things. Bachelor of technology in IoT specialization opens the door of opportunities for fresh graduates. M.Tech in Communication Engineering

Programme Overview

Communication Engineering  has been rapidly growing and evolving over the past few years. Ubiquitous communication is becoming a necessity for the society. The proposed M.Tech. Program is designed to offer not only in-depth theoretical knowledge in the area of Communications, Signal Processing, and Wireless Networks,Antenna Design,Mobile communication, Internet of Things, optical communication but also system modeling and integration aspects emphasizing overall system behavioral studies in a laboratory. Such courses are unique and fall in-line with the requirements from the industries. At the end of the programme the student achieves the ability to identify pressing research issues and research directions in Communications, Signal Processing, and Wireless Networks.

M.Tech in VLSI Design

Programme Overview

The post-graduate program in VLSI Design aims at providing fundamental concepts related to VLSI Devices, Analog Circuits, Technology and Applications. The focus areas of the program include Digital & Analog VLSI Design, Semiconductor Devices & Modeling and IC technology & Testing of IC. The students of the program are trained to understand the complete VLSI design flow using various industry standard CAD tools to develop integrated chips for different applications. The curriculum of the program has been developed  to impart knowledge on VLSI design through various program core and elective courses and improve the engineering skills of the students through project component integrated within the courses.

Eligibility Notes: A Master's degree from a recognised Indian University or any other equivalent degree to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
