The Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 was successfully organized by Galgotias Polytechnic, Galgotias University, on 8 September 2026, from 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM at the D-Block Auditorium, Campus-1.
The programme was organized to celebrate Teachers’ Day in memory of the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished educationist, philosopher, scholar, and former President of India. His lifelong contribution to education and his deep respect for the teaching profession continue to inspire generations. The celebration was therefore organized as a tribute to his vision and to acknowledge the dedication and contribution of teachers in shaping students’ lives.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students. The programme included a variety of student-led cultural performances, interactive activities, faculty appreciation, felicitation, and certificate presentations. Students took active responsibility for planning, coordination, anchoring, performances, and event management.
The celebration provided students with a platform to express their gratitude and appreciation towards their teachers. The event was conducted under the valuable guidance and encouragement of Dr. Mohit Gaharwar, Principal, Galgotias Polytechnic. Mr. Gautam Singh served as the Event Coordinator, Mr. Gautam Singh’s dedicated leadership, effective coordination, and continuous guidance of student organisers, performers, and volunteers contributed significantly to making the Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 smooth, well-organized, and memorable.. The organizing team included Mr. Pushpak Jain, Ms. Manisha Sharma, Mr. Aman Kumar (Overall Support). The valuable cooperation of faculty members, student coordinators, team members, volunteers, performers, and the Discipline/Proctor Team led by Mr. Sushil Kr Singh contributed significantly to the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The event also provided students with practical opportunities to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, creativity, coordination, and event-management skills.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, student coordinators, performers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making the celebration successful and memorable.
