Ms Pranjali Mishra

Ms. Pranjali Mishra is currently serving as the NSS Program Coordinator at Galgotias University, leading a vibrant team of 7 NSS units with over 700 student volunteers. Under her leadership, the NSS division actively engages in a wide range of community service initiatives, including health awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, social outreach, and government scheme awareness.

With a strong belief in the NSS motto “Not Me But You,” she fosters a spirit of selfless service and social responsibility among volunteers. Her dedication and enthusiasm have significantly contributed to the growth and impact of NSS activities on campus and in the surrounding communities.

Dr Pallavi Sharma

Pallavi Sharma is currently serving as the Programme Officer of NSS Unit–1 and an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering. She is deeply committed to fostering social responsibility and holistic development among students through various impactful community initiatives.

Under her leadership, NSS Unit–1 has successfully organized a range of socially relevant and awareness-driven programs. These include large-scale Plantation Drives promoting environmental sustainability, Poshan Pakhwada focusing on nutrition awareness, Tuberculosis Awareness Campaigns, and Road Safety Drives aimed at educating youth and the public on essential safety measures. Each event under her guidance not only aligns with national priorities but also actively engages students in community service, instilling a sense of civic duty and empathy.

Through her dual role as an academic and a social service facilitator, Pallavi Sharma continues to inspire students to grow as responsible citizens and change-makers in society.

Dr Anurag kumar

Dr. Anurag Kumar is currently serving as the Programme Officer of NSS Unit–2 and an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the School of Basic Sciences. A seasoned professional with a rich blend of academic and industry experience, he adopts a visionary perspective on youth leadership, social responsibility, and community engagement. His consistent dedication to developing disciplined, socially aware student volunteers has earned him widespread admiration both within and outside the university. Over the past three years, Dr. Anurag Kumar has dedicated himself to teaching with a rare blend of empathy, innovation, and purpose. He has inspired countless students by connecting classroom concepts to real-world scenarios and instilling in them a strong foundation of values and ethical thinking.

Dr Nishant Kumar Sharma

Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma is a dynamic and dedicated professional currently serving as the NSS Program Officer of Unit-3 at Galgotias University. With a unique blend of academic and industry experience, he brings a visionary approach to youth leadership, social responsibility, and community development. His tireless efforts in nurturing socially aware, disciplined, and responsible student volunteers have earned him deep respect within the university and beyond.

Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma holds over 7+ years of teaching experience, during which he has mentored countless students with empathy, excellence, and enthusiasm. His teaching style is marked by real-world application, innovative methods, and a strong focus on values-based education.

Before entering the field of academics, Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma accumulated more than 10 years of rich experience in the corporate and marketing sector. This extensive industry exposure has equipped him with practical insights, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset. His background in marketing enables him to bring a professional, organized, and impactful structure to all NSS initiatives, bridging the gap between classroom learning and societal engagement.

As the Program Officer of NSS Unit-3, Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma has successfully conceptualized and led several impactful campaigns and events, including environment drives, awareness rallies, health and hygiene workshops, and national celebrations like Yoga Day, Constitution Day, and International Women’s Day. His leadership in flagship events such as “Samarpan-25,” “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” and “Sundays on Cycle” has inspired hundreds of students to take up meaningful causes and contribute to nation-building.

His work philosophy is rooted in the principles of service before self, and he leads by example. Whether it's managing large-scale events or engaging in one-on-one mentorship, Mr. Sharma remains approachable, grounded, and committed to the personal and civic growth of his students.

With a rare blend of industry acumen, academic depth, and social commitment, Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma continues to be a catalyst for positive change at Galgotias University. Mrs Astha Shrivastava

Ms. Astha Srivastava is an Assistant Professor at the Galgotias School of Nursing and currently serves as the NSS Program Officer for Unit 4 at Galgotias University. She actively leads and mentors a dedicated group of student volunteers, encouraging them to engage in meaningful community service and social development activities.

She strives to instill a sense of empathy, leadership, and civic responsibility among students. Under her guidance, Unit 4 has participated in a variety of initiatives such as health awareness programs, cleanliness campaigns, rural outreach, and government scheme awareness. Her dedication to both education and community service continues to inspire positive change on campus and beyond.

Dr Nabarun Roy

Dr. Nabarun Roy has been serving as the Programme Officer of the NSS Unit 5 at Galgotias University since October 2022, successfully handling a full unit comprising 100 dedicated student volunteers. As an Assistant Professor in the School of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Roy brings both academic depth and community engagement to the forefront of student development. Under his dynamic leadership, the unit has executed a wide array of impactful activities in alignment with the guidelines of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. These include events like 7-Day NSS Special Camp, Student Police Experiential Learning Programme, Meri Maati Mera Desh, Amrit Kalash Yatra, Swachhta Hi Seva, Voter Awareness Rally, Awareness on Road Traffic Accidents, World Environment Day Celebration (Ek Ped Maa ke Naam), Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, Yuva Samvad, National Nutrition Week, Pariksha pe charcha, Watershed yatra, Mission Shakti and all other key events on the NSS Annual Calendar. Through his mentorship, students learn the true essence of NSS — Not Me, But You — by participating in socially relevant and nation-building activities.

Dr Akhilesh Pandey

Dr. Akhilesh Pandey is currently serving as the Programme Officer of the National Service Scheme (NSS), & an associate professor in School of Hospitality Management, dedicated to fostering the spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and youth development. With a strong commitment to community engagement, he actively guides student volunteers in organizing outreach programs focusing on education, health, environment, and national integration. Under his leadership, the NSS unit has successfully implemented numerous initiatives including cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, blood donation camps, and village adoption programs from last 04 years in several Universities. Dr. Pandey believes in empowering youth through experiential learning and service, nurturing socially responsible citizens equipped to contribute meaningfully to the nation's development.

Dr Dinesh Kumar

Dr. Dinesh Kumar is currently working as the Programme Officer of the Unit -07, National Service Scheme (NSS), dedicated to fostering the spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and youth development. With a strong commitment to community engagement, Dr Dinesh Kumar actively guides student volunteers in organizing outreach programs focusing on education, health, environment, and national integration. Under his leadership, the NSS unit has successfully implemented numerous initiatives including cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, blood donation camps, and village adoption programs. 

Dr. Dinesh Kumar strongly believes that youth must be empowered through experiential learning and service, and prepared to become socially conscious individuals who can make meaningful contributions to national progress. 

Dr Dinesh Kumar has also worked as NSS School coordinator, School of Basic Sciences, for one and half year.
