Brief Description

This event was organized to raise awareness among the residents of Kanarsa Village about human rights and voting rights. The main objective was to educate the villagers about their fundamental rights as citizens, especially the importance of voting, and to encourage them to actively participate in the democratic process. A street play (Nukkad Natak) was also performed by Actors s hub to deliver the message in an engaging and impactful way.

Detailed Description

The Awareness Drive began at8:00AM at Kanarsa Village.The event was conducted under the initiative of Galgotias Sustainable Society.

The program started with a short introduction by the coordinators, highlighting the importanceof human rights and voting rights, and how being aware of these rights empowers citizens and strengthens democracy.

Following this, a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) was performed by the talented team of Actors Hub. The play creatively depicted real-life scenarios where people are unaware oftheir rights and how that lack of knowledge affects their lives. The play concluded with a strong message encouraging people to vote and speak up for their rights.

After the play, the members of GSS interacted with the villagers, answered their questions, tell them about the importance of each vote, and the basic human rights every citizen is entitled to. The villagers participated actively, asked insightful questions, and appreciated the efforts takento bring this awareness to their community.

EventOutcome

The event was highly successful and impactful. The Nukkad Natak proved to be an effectivetool to engage the audience and spread awareness in an entertaining yet informative manner.

The drive concluded on a positive note with a promise to return with more suchawareness campaigns in the future. Overall, the event successfully met its objectives and contributed meaningfully towards community awareness and empowerment.
