The Department of Biotechnology & Bioengineering, School of Biosciences & Technology, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Galgotias University, organized a workshop on “Quantum AI Innovation in Cancer Diagnosis” on 13th February 2026. The workshop focused on the transformative potential of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence in advancing cancer diagnosis, precision medicine, and healthcare innovation.

The event brought together students, faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals to explore emerging technologies that are reshaping modern oncology. Event Detailed Description

The Department of Biotechnology & Bioengineering, School of Biosciences & Technology, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Galgotias University, successfully organized the workshop “Quantum AI Innovation in Cancer Diagnosis” on 13th February 2026. Conducted as an offline event, the workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from 110 students, 80 faculty members, and 220 external participants from various academic and research institutions.

The workshop was designed to explore the convergence of Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Biotechnology in developing innovative solutions for cancer diagnosis. Sessions focused on emerging advancements in precision diagnostics, early cancer detection, predictive healthcare analytics, machine learning applications in oncology, and quantum computing technologies capable of accelerating medical research and decision-making processes.

Experts shared real-world case studies and research developments demonstrating how AI and quantum technologies can improve diagnostic accuracy, optimize treatment planning, and support personalized healthcare solutions. Discussions also highlighted opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, data scientists, and technologists to address complex healthcare challenges.
