Event Detailed Description: The Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Galgotias University, in collaboration with ACME Society, organised TechSynapse – “Connecting AI with Embedded Systems” on 29th September 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at C-001, Drone Lab, GU

The session featured Praveen Kumar, AI Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Founder, Reviving Indiaand Vishal Yadav, AI & IoT Consultant at ScalePad and CTO at Technohunk. The resource persons discussed the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in modern technology and briefly explained why understanding and developing one's own AI capabilities is important.

A practical activity was conducted using Google Colab, allowing students to work directly in an AI-oriented computational environment. The hands-on component helped participants connect the concepts discussed during the session with practical implementation and experimentation.

The event encouraged students to explore the intersection of AI and embedded systems and to understand how AI-based software capabilities can complement hardware-oriented engineering applications. The interaction and practical work provided students with an opportunity to learn through both discussion and hands-on engagement.

Overall, TechSynapse provided an informative and interactive learning experience by combining an introduction to AI, discussion on the importance of AI capabilities, and practical work using Google Colab. The event supported technical awareness and encouraged students to explore emerging AI and embedded-system technologies.

Department Name: Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering

Event Outcome: The event enhanced students' awareness of Artificial Intelligence and its relevance to embedded systems while providing practical exposure through Google Colab. The discussion on the importance of understanding and developing AI capabilities encouraged students to explore emerging technologies and their practical applications. The combination of conceptual learning, interaction with resource persons and hands-on activity supported technical learning and increased students' exposure to AI-oriented tools and workflows.
