Galgotias University Sports Department & School of Computer Technology & Applications conducted "Summer Kreeda 2025", an inter-departmental summer sports festival celebrating youth, health, and heritage through competitive and recreational activities.
This vibrant celebration of sports, culture, and community spirit was held under the theme “Summer Fun in the Sun.” The event brought together students from multiple departments to compete in a range of outdoor games and team-building activities. Main highlights included badminton and cricket, alongside various other engaging competitions.
The primary objectives of the event were:
- To promote physical activity and healthy competition.
- To introduce students to traditional Indian and modern sports.
- To foster teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among participants.

Summer Provisions:
Understanding the challenges of outdoor sports in high temperatures, organizers ensured proper nutritional and safety measures. Bananas and glucose biscuits were made readily available at all event locations, offering participants quick energy. Multiple hydration stations were set up with cold water and glucose drinks to protect players from heat-related exhaustion and ensure their well-being.
Closing Ceremony:
The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony, where winners were awarded prizes, and all participants received certificates, honoring their enthusiasm and commitment to the event.
