Sports Club Trials (Martial Arts)

Event Date and year – 17th October 2024. 

Event brief description – On 17 October 2024, the Sports Department hosted the Martial Arts Trials as part of our ongoing efforts to promote cue- and combat-sports on campus. Open exclusively to second through fourth-year students, the trials were designed to identify skilled martial artists for the university’s team.

Event Detailed Description; Galgotias University sports department conducted Galgotias Sports trial for students across the university.

The Sports Department of Galgotias University successfully conducted the Galgotias Sports Trials(Martial Arts) on 17th October 2024, providing students from across the university with an opportunity to showcase their athletic talent and earn a spot in the university’s official sports teams.

To maximize awareness and participation, event details were circulated through social media platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp, accompanied by a registration link. Engaging digital posters, stories, and reminder updates ensured strong visibility and response from the student body.

The trials witnessed a promising turnout, with around 50 students registering for the event. Participants came from various departments and academic backgrounds, united by their passion for sports and competition. The trials included a variety of sporting disciplines Martial Arts (Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, Kickboxing ect.)
