The MoUs and Collaborations Committee, School of Law, Galgotias University, organized a special lecture on “Career in Intellectual Property Rights” on 20 May 2026 at 10:00 AM in A-501, Galgotias University. The session was delivered by Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, S.S. Rana & Co., who shared valuable insights on career opportunities, litigation, trademarks, patents, corporate advisory, and emerging developments in the field of Intellectual Property Rights.
The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by (Prof.) Dr. Aditya Tomer, Dean, School of Law, who emphasized the importance of IPR and industry-academia collaboration. The lecture was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session where students actively engaged with the speaker.
A major highlight of the event was the formal signing and exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between S.S. Rana & Co. and Galgotias University. The MoU was exchanged between Mr. Vikrant Rana and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) K. Mallikarjuna Babu, to strengthen collaboration in legal education, internships, research, and skill development.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Mansi Jain Garg. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Rupendra Singh and Dr. Mansi Jain Garg.

The MoUs and Collaborations Committee, School of Law, Galgotias University, successfully organized a special lecture on “Career in Intellectual Property Rights” on 20 May 2026 at 10:00 AM in A-501, Galgotias University.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The session was graced by the presence of distinguished legal professional Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, S.S. Rana & Co., who delivered an insightful lecture on career opportunities, professional growth, and emerging developments in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. Drawing from his vast practical experience, Mr. Rana provided students with valuable guidance regarding litigation, prosecution, corporate advisory, trademarks, patents, and evolving opportunities in the IPR sector.
The programme formally began with the Welcome Address delivered by (Prof.) Dr. Aditya Tomer, Dean, School of Law, who highlighted the growing importance of Intellectual Property Rights in today’s innovation-driven world and emphasized the significance of industry-academia collaborations for student development.
