Galgotias University conducted its 2nd international meet in Singapore on July 8, 2023, at Cafe Football, Genting Hotel Jurong, 2 Town Hall Link, Singapore. The event was organized to bring together Galgotias University's alumni based in Singapore.

Galgotias University organized a meaningful alumni interaction in Singapore, where Prof. (Dr.) Mallikharjuna Babu Kayala, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, warmly met with Singapore-based alumni. The session focused on emerging industry trends, evolving job market demands, and the skills required for future-ready graduates. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the insightful discussions and expressed his enthusiasm for strengthening alumni engagement through future interactions.

During the meeting, Nayan Omar, Cloud Security Head at Standard Chartered Bank, shared valuable insights on future technologies, engineering competencies, and industry expectations. Shashwat Jain, Group Head at mymediset (BIT Consulting) and a 2015 B.Tech (ECE) alumnus, reaffirmed his commitment to expanding and strengthening the Galgotias Singapore Alumni Chapter. Rupali Kumari, Senior Data Engineer at OCBC Bank, highlighted the growing demand for data science professionals in the financial sector. The event concluded with alumni expressing their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for creating an opportunity to reconnect with fellow Galgotians and reinforcing the University's strong global alumni network.
