Event Detailed Description

Galgotias School of Nursing, in collaboration with Nursing Wallah, organized a seminar titled “Career Guidance & Professional Development” on 6th October 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at A-207, Galgotias University, Greater Noida. The programme was organized to guide students about diverse career pathways, professional development, competitive examinations, and higher education opportunities.

The seminar featured three resource persons. Mr. Chandhan Sharma, Research Nursing Officer at PGI Chandigarh, shared his professional experiences and discussed career opportunities in clinical nursing and research. Ms. Himani Joshi, an NCLEX examination-qualified professional pursuing the Registered Nurse pathway for Australia, provided insights into international nursing opportunities, NCLEX preparation, and requirements for pursuing a nursing career abroad. Ms. Sunny Sharma, who has qualified examinations such as SSC CGL, CPO, AFCAT, and IIT JAM, shared guidance on competitive examinations, career planning, dedication, and consistent preparation.

The resource persons motivated students to explore different career pathways and highlighted the importance of continuous learning, professional skills, confidence, and determination in achieving career goals. The seminar helped students understand opportunities in clinical nursing, research, international nursing practice, and various competitive examinations.

The programme provided students with exposure to diverse professional pathways and emphasized the value of career planning, skill enhancement, and lifelong learning in building a successful professional future.

Implementation

The seminar was conducted as an offline academic activity at A-207, Galgotias University, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It was organized by Galgotias School of Nursing in collaboration with Nursing Wallah. The programme included expert sharing by three resource persons and guidance on clinical nursing, research, international nursing opportunities, and competitive examinations.
