About the Programme

The B.Sc. Digital and Cyber Forensics programme adopts innovative educational reform strategies aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) and global industry requirements. The programme emphasizes outcome-based education, multidisciplinary learning, skill-oriented pedagogy, and integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Digital Investigation Tools. Continuous curriculum revision in consultation with industry experts, law enforcement agencies, and academic institutions ensures alignment with evolving cyber threats, digital evidence standards, and global forensic practices. The programme also promotes digital literacy, ethical responsibility, innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning to prepare graduates for rapidly changing technological and investigative environments.

The programme structure incorporates Major Discipline Courses (DC), Multidisciplinary Courses (MDC), Generic Electives/Minor Courses (GE/Minor), Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), and Value-Added Courses (VAC), enabling students to pursue flexible learning pathways and develop domain-specific as well as transferable skills. The inclusion of open electives and minor specializations encourages students to explore disciplines beyond forensic science and supports holistic education.
