Computer Science & Engineering (Quantum Computing with Artificial Intelligence) programme combines the fundamentals of Computer Science and Engineering with specialised knowledge in Quantum Computing, Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Information, Quantum Communications, Quantum Hardware, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and optimisation. The programme prepares students for emerging computational paradigms and the rapidly developing quantum technology ecosystem.
The programme provides students with a strong foundation in programming, data structures and algorithms, mathematics, computer architecture, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering while progressively introducing specialised concepts in Quantum Computing, Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Information, Quantum Communications and Quantum Hardware, and Quantum Search and Optimization Techniques. These areas form the Quantum Computing pathway within the curriculum.
The programme emphasises interdisciplinary and experiential learning, enabling students to understand both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of quantum technologies. Students develop computational thinking and problem-solving capabilities by exploring quantum algorithms, optimisation techniques, quantum information processing, and the interaction between quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence.
Through laboratory work, programming, projects, internships, research-oriented activities, hackathons, and industry exposure, students gain opportunities to apply their knowledge to emerging computational problems. The programme also supports exploration of applications of quantum computing in Artificial Intelligence, optimisation, cybersecurity, finance, drug discovery, logistics, simulation, and other computationally intensive domains.
