3 YearsThe Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the principles of nutrition, dietetics, and the role of nutrition in health and disease. The program integrates the science of nutrition with practical applications in clinical settings, preparing students for careers as dietitians, nutritionists, and health professionals.
Students will begin with foundational subjects such as Human Physiology, Human Nutrition, Fundamental of Nutritional Biochemistry, Introduction to Food Science. They will delve into specialized courses like Nutritional Care in Disease Condition, Family meal Management, Nutritional Assessment and Surveillance, Nutraceuticals and Functional Food. Dietetics & Counselling, Food Standard and Quality Control.
Research-focused courses such as Research Methodology and Biostatistics prepare students for scientific inquiry and data analysis.
Elective options and interdisciplinary subjects like Introduction to Biotechnology, Fundamentals of Clinical Research , Hospital and Healthcare Management, Dairy Science , Epidemiology, Immunonutrition allow students to tailor their education to their interests.

Graduates of the B.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics program are well-prepared for various career paths, including:
Clinical Dietitian/Nutritionist, Community Nutritionist, Public Health Nutritionist, Food Service Manager, Researcher in Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition Consultant in Corporate Wellness Programs, Professional Certification
Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to pursue certification and licensure as dietitians or nutritionists, depending on the regulations in their country.
NOTE: For selected 3 Year Undergraduate programs, you have the option to continue for 4th year to obtain an Honours with Research Degree.
XIIth with science with minimum 50% marks.

For Migration from Other Universities:
1) B.Sc (Hons/Hons with Research) in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics Ist yr. minimum 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale
2) XII with Science with minimum 50% marks.

Nutrition and Dietetics Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of nutrition and dietetics.

Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.

Problem analysis: Utilize the principles of Analytical thinking, clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during handling patients, Sports person and making food chart for all age groups and also analyse, evaluate and apply information systematically and making decisions related to it.

Modern tool usage: Learn and apply modern and appropriate practical applicable tools of a scientific understanding of nutrition.

Leadership skills: Understand and consider the human reaction to change, motivation issues, leadership and team-building when planning changes required for fulfilment of practice, professional and societal responsibilities. Assume participatory roles as responsible citizens or leadership roles during the conduction of their job to facilitate improvement in health and wellbeing.

Professional Identity: Understand, analyse and communicate the value of their professional roles in the society (e.g., health care professionals, promoters of health, Clinical Researcher, managers, employers, employees)

Nutrition and Dietetics Ethics: Honor human values and apply ethical principles in professional and social contexts. Demonstrate behaviour that recognizes cultural and personal variability in values, communication and lifestyles. Use ethical frameworks; apply ethical principles while making decisions.

Communication: Communicate effectively with the Nutritional community (healthcare provider, doctor and patient and write effective reports, make effective presentations and documentation, and give and receive clear instructions.
