About the Programme

The School of Artificial Intelligence offers the B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) program to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the era of intelligent technologies. Artificial Intelligence is a rapidly growing field focused on developing systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, including learning, reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, and language understanding. The program provides a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing, enabling students to develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with practical exposure through laboratory sessions, industry-oriented projects, internships, and research opportunities. Students gain hands-on experience with modern programming languages and tools such as Python, Java, C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Tableau, preparing them to design and deploy intelligent systems across diverse sectors including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and smart technologies. Through a blend of academic excellence and experiential learning, the School of Artificial Intelligence aims to develop future-ready professionals capable of driving innovation in the AI-driven world.

Eligibility

Minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Electronics/Engineering Graphics/Technical Vocational Subjects in Class XIIth.

Students with a JEE-Mains / JEE-Advance/CUET / SAT (DI Code - 71057 ) score will be given preference in the merit list

For Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma examination with at least 60% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 60% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Or

Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

For Migration from Other Universities:
1) B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 60% marks or equivalent
2) 60% PCM or above at XII level.

The Graduates of Computer Science and Engineering shall be engaged with leading Global Software Services and Product development companies handling projects in cutting edge technologies.

The Graduates of Computer Science and Engineering shall serve in technical or managerial roles at Government firms, Corporates and contributing to the society as successful entrepreneurs through start-up.

The Graduates of Computer Science and Engineering shall undertake higher education, research or academia at institutions of transnational reputation.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

Graduates will apply principles of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing to analyze complex problems, develop intelligent systems, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions using modern programming languages, tools, and frameworks across diverse application domains.

Graduates will leverage data analytics, predictive modeling, and emerging AI technologies to support data-driven decision-making, engage in research and innovation, demonstrate industry readiness, and develop ethical, secure, transparent, and socially responsible AI solutions that contribute to sustainable technological advancement.
