About the Programme

The B.Tech. in Cyber Security, School of Skill Sciences & Entrepreneurship at Galgotias University is designed to develop industry-ready cybersecurity professionals through a first-of-its-kind Skill Integration Framework that seamlessly combines academic learning with practical competencies.

Built in alignment with NEP 2020, NSQF, NCrF, Sector Skill Councils and global industry standards, the Programme integrates unit-wise skills, hands-on practical's, experiential-based learning, industry expert sessions, internships, micro-credentials, and professional certifications into every stage of learning.

Students gain practical experience in areas such as Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, Cloud Security, Security Operations (SOC), Secure Software Development, Threat Intelligence, DevSecOps, and AI-driven Cyber Security using industry-relevant tools and real-world case studies.

The Programme emphasizes continuous skill development, industry collaboration, experiential learning, and outcome-based education, ensuring graduates possess not only a strong theoretical foundation but also the professional competencies required to excel in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Eligibility

Minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Electronics/Engineering Graphics/Technical Vocational Subjects in Class XIIth.

Students with a JEE-Mains / JEE-Advance/CUET / SAT (DI Code - 71057 ) score will be given preference in the merit list
