About the Programme

M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science is a two-year postgraduate programme that gives in depth knowledge about soil as a natural resource and it’s physical, chemical, biological, and fertility characteristics. The students will be able to create sustainable and manageable agricultural production strategies after studying the course.

Eligibility

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture/ related degrees with minimum 60% marks for general and 55% for SC/ ST/ PH/ other reserved category candidates or equivalent CGPA

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Programme Objectives

Generate knowledge through training in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, which are necessary for productive scholarly research in a selected area of Soil Science.

Undertake independent research in domain of soil science and present results in a coherent and comprehensive manner.

Possess interpersonal abilities, professionalism in their creative work, a sense of moral obligation, and a dedication to society on both local and global scale.
