About the Programme

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering – Digital Manufacturing using AI and CPS, offered in association with L&T EduTech, prepares students to design, operate, and manage next-generation manufacturing systems using advanced engineering and digital technologies. The programme combines the fundamentals of mechanical engineering Core with specialised knowledge in digital manufacturing, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), enabling students to address the growing demand for smart, automated, and connected manufacturing environments across industries such as automotive, aerospace, heavy engineering, and industrial automation. The programme equips graduates with the skills required for careers in smart manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics-integrated production, digital twins, and manufacturing consulting, while preparing them to meet the evolving needs of Industry 4.0.

Eligibility

Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Class XIIth. Students with a JEE-Mains / JEE-Advance/CUET / SAT (DI Code - 71057 ) score will be given preference in the merit list.

For Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology. Or Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Or Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 50% marks or equivalent 2) 50% PCM or above at XII level.
