Computer Science & Engineering (IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain Technology) programme provides a strong foundation in computer science with specialised knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, blockchain, network security, cloud computing, cryptography, and emerging digital technologies. The programme prepares students to design, develop, secure, and manage connected and decentralised digital systems.
The curriculum covers key areas including IoT Architecture and Protocols, IoT Security, Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Cloud and Virtualization Security, Blockchain Systems and Applications, Cryptocurrency and NFT Ecosystems, Data Privacy and Security, Secure AI Systems, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.

Programme Highlights
Minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Electronics/Engineering Graphics/Technical Vocational Subjects in Class XIIth.
Students with a JEE-Mains / JEE-Advance/CUET / SAT (DI Code - 71057 ) score will be given preference in the merit list
For Lateral Entry:
Passed Diploma examination with at least 60% marks in relevant discipline of Engineering and Technology.
Or
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 60% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Or
Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
For Migration from Other Universities:
1) B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 60% marks or equivalent
2) 60% PCM or above at XII level.

B Tech in Internet of Things is a 4-year undergraduate engineering program that teaches you how connected devices, sensors, networks, data, cyber security, and blockchain work together. At Galgotias University, the program focuses on IoT, Cyber Security, and Blockchain Technology for real-world digital systems.
IoT means Internet of Things. It connects physical devices like smart watches, vehicles, home appliances, cameras, sensors, and industrial machines to the internet so they can collect, share, and act on data.
Cyber Security and Blockchain are included because IoT devices generate large amounts of data, and that data needs protection from theft, manipulation, and misuse. Cyber Security helps protect data and networks, and Blockchain supports security and privacy for shared user data.

You need a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Electronics or Engineering Graphics or Technical Vocational Subjects. Students with JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CUET, or SAT scores get preference in the merit list.
The tuition fee for this program is ₹1,64,000 per annum. Students also need to pay ₹20,000 exam fee per annum, ₹650 medical insurance per annum, ₹2,000 caution money, and ₹1,000 student ID card fee.
