Event brief description

The Department of Computer Applications and Technology, School of Computer Applications & Technology (SCAT), Galgotias University, organized a Poster Presentation on 9 June 2026 at C Block, Ground Floor. The event provided students with an opportunity to present their selected projects, research ideas, and technical solutions through posters and presentations.

Students from SCAT actively participated in the event and presented their selected projects before an academic panel. The students explained their project objectives, methodology, implementation, outcomes, and practical applications. The activity helped students improve their research aptitude, presentation skills, technical communication, and confidence in responding to questions from experts.

The event was judged by the Dean of SCAT along with faculty professors. The participating teams were evaluated on the basis of originality of the project idea, technical content, presentation quality, practical relevance, clarity of explanation, and responses to questions. Based on the overall evaluation, the top three teams were selected as winners.

Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams to recognize their efforts and encourage students to participate in research and project-based activities. The first-prize winning team received ₹5,000, the second-prize team received ₹3,000, and the third-prize team received ₹2,000.

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sudhesna Chakroborty and Dr. Neha Thakur. Overall, the Poster Presentation provided a useful platform for students to present their project work, exchange ideas, receive academic feedback, and gain valuable presentation experience.

Objectives: To provide students a platform to present their selected projects and demonstrate their technical and research skills.

Agenda: To encourage creativity, effective communication, and project-based learning through expert evaluation and feedback.

Event Outcome:Students successfully presented their projects, gained expert feedback, and improved their technical communication and presentation skills.
