Event Detailed Description

The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical & Allied Sciences, successfully organized “One day Industrial visit to Monique Pharmaceuticals: Bridging Academia and Industry” on 24th February, 2026 for B Pharm and D. Pharm Final Year Students. The visit was successfully coordinated by Ms. Priti Choudhary.

Welcome and Introduction

The visit began with a welcome session conducted by company representatives. Students were introduced to the company’s history, organizational structure, product range, and manufacturing capabilities. The importance of GMP, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance was explained.

Production Department Visit

Students visited the production area where they observed Manufacturing of pharmaceutical dosage forms ,operation of manufacturing equipment, Granulation, mixing, compression, and coating processes ,Environmental control and cleanliness standards.The importance of maintaining controlled environmental conditions was emphasized.

Quality Control Department

Students observed analytical instruments such as HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography),UV Spectrophotometer, Dissolution apparatus.The QC team explained testing procedures for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality compliance.

Packaging and Warehouse

Students observed packaging processes including labeling, blister packaging, and storage. The warehouse section demonstrated proper storage conditions, inventory management, and material handling procedures.
