Ms. Neha Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical & Allied Sciences, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with 10.4 years of teaching experience in the field of pharmacy. She is also a research scholar of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Nacholi, Faridabad. Previously worked as an assistant professor at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth from Feb 2016 to Sep 2019 and at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Pharmacy, Patti, Tarntaran, Punjab from Jan 2015 to Nov 2015. She has completed her M. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy degrees from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab. She has published a book chapter, and review articles in reputed journals. Additionally, her article has been recognized in ISA-Ingredients South Asia magazine. Ms. Sharma published three national patents and one design patent, showcasing her innovative approach and expertise in the field. Her areas of expertise include pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, herbal drug technology, natural product chemistry, and antimicrobial and anti-diabetic screening studies. She has also supervised 10 UG student projects. She is a Registered Pharmacist with the Punjab State Pharmacy Council of India and a Lifetime Member of APTI and the Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research. She is also qualified in GPAT, showcasing her strong academic credentials and expertise in the field of pharmacy. Her dedication and excellence have been acknowledged with awards like the Best Performer Award 2020-21 from Department of Pharmacy, Galgotias University, an Appreciation Award for coordinating 3 days of online workshops on Manufacturing of Phytopharmaceutical Drugs organized by IIM-Technology Business Incubator & Skill Development Initiative of CSIR-IIM, Jammu, recognition as Early career youth icon of the year 2022 and Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar and certificate of Excellence in 2023.
