Mission Shakti

On November 30th, 2024, NSS (National Service Scheme) Unit 5 and School of Agriculture organized the Mission Shakti Event at SD Kanya Inter College, Bilaspur Village, Dankaur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This event attracted around 30 students from the University and around 500 students from the school where the programme was hosted. The main objective of this program was to empower women and make them aware of their rights in the society. In this program, women were made aware of issues like child marriage, gender inequality, dowry system. Women were told about these issues in detail and they were motivated to find solutions to these problems. In the program, women were also given information on topics like health, education and economic independence. They were made aware of their rights and were motivated to improve their lives. The programme included skids related to men awareness on women safety, poems for women empowerment, speeches and extempore sheeches. Mission Shakti proved to be a successful program and took a significant step towards women empowerment. This program made women aware of their rights and motivated them to improve their lives.
