Event Detailed Description- The School of Business, Galgotias University, is pleased to announce the organization of an industry visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat, Haryana, scheduled for 19th March 2026. This visit is being conducted as part of the university’s continuous effort to strengthen industry and academia collaboration and provide students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities.
Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. is a globally recognized organization in the health beverage sector and operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sonipat. The plant is certified with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and HACCP standards, ensuring strict adherence to international benchmarks in environmental management, occupational health and safety, quality management, and food safety. Spread across 8 acres, the facility has more than 30% area developed as a green belt, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability, hygiene, and automation. The manufacturing plant was inaugurated by Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Food Processing Industries, Government of India, highlighting its national importance in the food processing sector.
Approximately 104 students from the MBA and BBA programs will participate in this educational visit. The program has been carefully designed to provide students with exposure to real-world manufacturing practices, quality control systems, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence. A special training session will be conducted by the Human Resources Department of Yakult, during which students will gain practical insights into industry operations, corporate culture, recruitment processes, and the competencies required to succeed in today’s highly competitive and dynamic job market.
The visit aims to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and industry practice by enabling students to observe professional operations in a leading FMCG organization and interact with experienced industry professionals. This initiative is expected to enhance students’ understanding of organizational functioning, promote career readiness, and support holistic academic development.
