Event Detailed Description- 

The Department of Life Sciences, under the School of Biosciences and Technology at Galgotias University, organized an industrial visit to the Shriram Institute for Industrial Research (SRI), New Delhi, on April 25, 2025. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications by exposing students to industrial research and laboratory practices. A university bus transported the students from campus at 12:30 PM, and they arrived at the institute by 2:00 PM. The program began with an interactive session from 2:15 to 3:15 PM, where students engaged with senior scientists, including Dr. Vivek Narayan Singh, Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, Mr. Amit Singh, Mr. Amit Bhadouriya, Mr. Ravi Singh, and Mr. Brijesh Tripathi. 

These discussions gave students valuable insights into current environmental research and career opportunities. Students then toured various laboratories—Microbiology, Air and Water Analysis, Instrumentation, and Environmental Sciences—where they observed advanced techniques and instruments in use. The visit concluded with an inspiring guest lecture by Dr. Shekhar C. Mande from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, who emphasized the importance of scientific research in addressing environmental issues. The team departed the institute at 5:30 PM and returned to campus by 6:30 PM. Overall, the visit proved to be an educational and motivating experience for the students.
