The session was delivered by Mr. Ashish Kumar, an industry expert in Data Science and AIML with 16+ years of experience in applying Data Science based projects and AIML solutions to real-world industrial problems. He is currently working as Team Lead in Coforge Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500019.

Event Detailed Description

The expert talk began with the welcome note By IIC & IAC Coordinator Galgotias Polytechnic and Program Chair (PC) Dept of CSE. Mr. Ashish Kumar discussed how AIML and IoT are accelerate the industry from product-based solutions to human centric development and accelerate the innovations.

The session focus on AI integration improves IoT networks because it enhances our ability to interpret data and automate intelligent responses. Together, AI and IoT technologies result in the creation of truly smart ecosystems that benefit from real-time decision-making (e.g. self-driving cars), process automation and optimization (e.g. supply chain logistics), and predictive maintenance (e.g. in manufacturing facilities).

Session specially emphasis was given to career opportunities and startup and new ideas in the field of AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things). Students were guided on the essential skills required to build a career in this domain, such as programming fundamentals, data handling, mathematics for machine learning, and continuous upskilling.

The session was interactive, with students actively participating by asking questions related to learning paths, project development, and industry expectations. The expert also motivated students to focus on hands-on practice, internships, and real-world projects to strengthen their profiles.
