The School of Basic Sciences, Galgotias University, in association with the GU-Scientia Club, successfully organized an engaging Earth Day celebration titled “EarthSpeak: Voices for a Sustainable Future” on 8th May 2026 from 11:05 AM to 12:50 PM at Room A-505. The event was conducted as a short speech competition with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and scientific thinking among students.
The event was designed to provide students with a dynamic platform to express their perspectives on pressing environmental concerns and global sustainability challenges. Participants enthusiastically presented their ideas on a wide range of contemporary topics including climate change, renewable energy, green technology, environmental responsibility, artificial intelligence for sustainability, circular economy, and sustainable development.
The competition witnessed active participation from undergraduate students of the School of Basic Sciences, reflecting their growing awareness and concern toward environmental issues.
