Dr. Vivek Kumar Yadav

Assistant Professor

Dr. Vivek Kumar Yadav is currently working as Assistant Professor-II in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioengineering School of Biosciences and Technology. He joined Galgotias University in May 2022. . He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) and subsequently completed postdoctoral research at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in collaboration with Wellcome-Trust and Sanger Institute UK. His research interests include biofilms, quorum sensing, microbial pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions, and antimicrobial resistance, with particular emphasis on the role of bacterial quorum sensing molecules in host immune responses. He has authored more than 17 peer-reviewed research articles and serves as a reviewer for several journals. Beyond his research, he is actively engaged in industry consultancy, collaborative research, and professional training, contributing to innovation and capacity building in microbiology and biotechnology.

Dr. Yadav is an active member of renowned scientific societies, including the Indian Immunological Society (IIS), The Korean Association of Immunologist (KAI), The Association of Cell Biology and Differentiation, and the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID).
