Dr. Umar Farooq

Assistant Professor

Dr. Umar Farooq is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Division of Chemistry, School of Basic Sciences. He has total experience of more than 2 years of teaching Chemistry and has been associated with Galgotias University since 2021. He has served as an assistant professor MIE-SPPU Qatar. He has received his PhD in chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi India. He has pursued his masters in physical chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has published more than 20 research articles including experimental results, review articles and book chapters in different journals of international repute. His research interest is focused on to development of novel nanodimensional functional materials as heterogenous catalysts for different applications including sustainable energy production, chemical transformations etc.
