Dr. Pramod Kumar Pandey is an Associate Professor at the School of Media and Communication Studies, Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar. He is UGC-NET JRF qualified and has also completed an MBA (Online Mode) from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune.

He began his teaching career in August 2011. Over the years, he has been associated with institutions such as Delhi Metropolitan Education (GGSIPU), Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Delhi, Teerthanker Mahaveer University and ZIMA (Zee Institute of Media Arts). He holds an MMC from GGSIPU, Delhi and a BMC from GJUS&T, Hisar.

Before joining academics, He worked briefly in the media industry. He started as a video editor at Akshit Productions, where he edited corporate films and documentaries. He also worked as a corporate communication professional at Rockland Hospital.

His teaching and research areas include media research, advertising, public relations and communication studies. He has written on topics such as media literacy, OTT platforms and development communication. He has also presented papers at academic conferences and participated in faculty development programmes.

He continues to maintain a balanced focus on classroom teaching, research and academic development.
