Professor Kalpana P. Rahate presently associated with Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her extensive teaching experience stretches over 28 years. She has been consistently engaged in exploring the potency of natural phytoconstituents in management of various diseases. She has supervised 9 Post graduate theses and completed some research projects of national interest. She has published over 22 publications to her credit in the journals of high scientific impact with citations of 322, h-index of 8 and i10 index 7. She has contributed 5 book chapters in books of prestigious publications. She has over 9 Indian and Australian design patents to her credit. She has been consistently engaged in various Faculty Development Programs of National interest. She is an active member of various societies including Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), Society for Materials Chemistry (SMC). She has been enabling research in thrust areas like characterization of Novel drugs, Insilico Drug Design and Development, Method Development and Validation.
