Dr. Gaurav Kumar

Associate Professor

Dr. Gaurav Kumar is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, and the Institution's Innovation Council In-Charge at Galgotias University, Gr. Noida, UP. He has also served as a research coordinator and Ph.D. coordinator at Galgotias University. He has received a Ph.D. degree from the School of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, UP. Hitherto, He served as Asst. Professor, Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur, and Assistant Professor at Shobhit University, Meerut; Lecturer at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut and Research trainee at CSIR- Central Scientific Instrumentation Organization, Chandigarh. He is selected for the PostDoc Associate at the University of Louisville, USA, DST INSPIRE Fellowship, and Qualified GATE in Biotechnology. He received several awards, including, Innovation Ambassador from the Ministry of Education, Best Faculty of Biotechnology from William Research Centre, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, and a Gold Medal in Master of Technology (Biotechnology) from Shobhit University, Meerut. His research acumen and inclination in various disciplines such as Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, and Herbal Study in medicine establish him as a young researcher and educator. He has completed numerous courses/ FDP/ training/ workshops conducted by highly reputed organizations. He has presented his research work at several international and national conferences in India and abroad. He is an active member of several reputed scientific societies including, the Society for Neurochemistry India, IRED, Indian Academy of Neurosciences, IAENG, SRDA, and IEEE. He has published 40 research/review papers in reputed SCI/SCI-E/SCOPUS and peer-reviewed journals. He has published 8 national and international patents, 6 book chapters, and 2 books. He has organized 75+ national and international events including conferences, workshops, webinars, ATAL FDP, Toycathon, Hackathon, and AIU VC Meet. He is also working as a Guest Editor for the Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity (SCI Journal IF: 7.3) Frontiers of Neuroscience (SCI Journal IF: 5.1), Review Editor for Frontiers in Stroke as well as an Editorial Board Member of the EC Neurology, and Journal of Biological Engineering Research and Review. He has delivered several Invited Talks in workshops, Conferences, and FDPs at the National & International levels.
