The School of Law, Galgotias University organised a Special Lecture and Interactive Dialogue titled “Ask the Bench: An Interactive Dialogue on Law and Justice” with Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge (Retd.), Supreme Court of India, on 23rd September 2026. Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Bindal is the Honorary Distinguished Jurist of the School of Law. The session was designed to provide law students with an opportunity to engage directly with an eminent jurist and gain insights into law, justice, judicial experience and contemporary legal issues. The interaction was highly engaging, with students participating enthusiastically and putting forward thoughtful questions. The Hon’ble Justice Bindal responded to the questions and engaged actively with the students, making the session meaningful and enriching.

Event Detailed Description

The School of Law, Galgotias University organised “Ask the Bench: An Interactive Dialogue on Law and Justice” on 23rd September 2026 at A-501, Galgotias University. The programme featured Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge (Retd.), Supreme Court of India, as the distinguished guest and Honorary Distinguished Jurist of the School of Law.
The programme commenced with the arrival and reception of the Hon’ble Guest, followed by opening remarks and the welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Aditya Tomer, Dean, School of Law. The central component of the programme was an interactive dialogue with law students, scheduled from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Students participated with considerable enthusiasm and raised questions covering diverse aspects of law, justice, judicial experience and the practical dimensions of legal education and professional practice. The Hon’ble Justice Bindal responded to the questions and engaged openly with the students, resulting in a lively and insightful academic interaction.
The programme was followed by an interaction of the Hon’ble Guest with faculty members of the School of Law, providing an opportunity for academic and professional exchange. The event concluded with vote of thanks.
