Galgotias University always focus on student-centred teaching-learning approach. To strengthen this objective, the Galgotias Polytechnic and Dept of IAC/IIC, in collaboration with the Alumni Department, organized an interactive session titled “Alumni Talk: Knowledge Transformation from Alumni” on 12 March 2026 at F-106.

The purpose of this session was to enhance the technical knowledge and professional awareness of polytechnic students by connecting them with alumni currently working in the industry. The guest speaker was Mr. Aman Upadhyay, Admission No: 22GPTC4060103, Dept: Computer Science & Engineering, Batch: 2022-25. He is working as a Team Lead (Technical Retail Associate) at Cars24, Gurgaon. He shared valuable insights on data communication protocols, cloud-based services, and protocol-based architectures used in modern systems. Alumni talk also shared the internship and placement opportunity in the current industry demand and best technologies platform for the job point of view.

Students actively participated in the session and asked questions regarding industry requirements, career growth, and emerging technologies. The session helped students gain practical knowledge and motivated them to prepare for future professional opportunities.

Event Detailed Description

University Polytechnic, Galgotias University, along with the Alumni Department, organized an informative session titled “Alumni Talk: Knowledge Transformation from Alumni” on 20th December 2025 for students of the Computer Science & Engineering Department (AI & ML). The aim of the program was to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Alumni interaction programs are important as they enable students to learn from real industry experiences and understand professional expectations.

The session was delivered by Mr. Aman Upadhayay, an alumnus of the department, who is currently working as a Team Lead (Technical Retail Associate) at Cars24. During the session, he shared his professional journey from being a student at Galgotias University to working in the IT industry. He also discussed the importance of technical knowledge, practical exposure, and continuous learning for career development.

The speaker explained various technical concepts, including data communication protocols, cloud-based service environments, and protocol-based architectures used in communication systems. He also discussed how these technologies are applied in real industry scenarios.

An interactive question-answer session was conducted where students asked queries regarding career planning, internships, job opportunities, and required technical skills. The speaker encouraged students to focus on programming skills, communication abilities, and teamwork.
