Event brief description – The School of Finance and Commerce (SFC), Galgotias University, organised an entrepreneurship-focused session featuring alumni Siddhant Saxena and Yash Agarwal, who shared insights on innovation, resilience, and strategic thinking. Their experiences motivated students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and explore opportunities for growth in both corporate and entrepreneurial paths.

Event Detailed Description- The School of Finance and Commerce (SFC), Galgotias University, organised an enriching session titled “Alumni Journeys in Entrepreneurship” on 30th November 2025 at the Old Auditorium, C-Block. The purpose of the event was to introduce students to real-world entrepreneurial mindsets and inspire them through the achievements of university alumni who have transitioned successfully from academic life to professional and entrepreneurial roles.

The session featured two notable alumni from the MBA (Financial Management) Batch 2020–22 — Mr. Siddhant Saxena, Associate II at PwC, and Mr. Yash Agarwal, Director of AS Learning. They shared insightful experiences about their respective journeys, describing how perseverance, skill development, and strategic decision-making played key roles in shaping their careers. Their narratives provided students with an understanding of how challenges can be transformed into opportunities through determination and innovative thinking.

Both speakers emphasized the importance of adopting an entrepreneurial mindset, regardless of career path. They highlighted critical qualities such as adaptability, leadership, financial discipline, and continuous learning. Through examples from their professional experiences, they encouraged students to think creatively, identify gaps in the market, and cultivate the confidence required to pursue their own ventures or excel within established organisations.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, allowing students to ask questions and seek advice tailored to their aspirations. The event proved to be highly motivating, offering valuable guidance and renewed inspiration for students aiming to explore entrepreneurship. The SFC department received appreciation for organising a meaningful and impactful session that promoted practical learning beyond the classroom.
