World Heart Day (29-09-2024)

The World Heart Day Cerebration event was conducted on 29 September 2024 from 10:00am - 12:00pm by Department of Cardiovascular Technology (School of Allied Health Sciences) focused on making the students and faculty members of Galgotias University aware about heart health. The event began with CVT students making placards on heart health awareness which then continued with a rally of students carrying various models and awareness posters about heart health .The rally started from A block then went to B block and finally ended in C block covering the ground and cafeteria also. Later in the event students played a nukkad natak on cardiovascular resuscitation (CPR) technique in cafeteria and C block.The work of our students was appreciated by the audience of Galgotias University campus who encouraged the students and clicked their photos and videos. Students also answered the different questions regarding cardiovascular health that were asked by the audience. Dr. Devraj Bhati and Dr. Vartika also shared their valuable experience as a treating physician. The event was deemed successful in achieving its educational objectives.

The event ends with vote of thanks by Dr Vishal Sharma event coordinator Cardiovascular Technology and Dr. Nitesh A.P. department of CVT.Overall the event was a successful approach towards heart health awareness.
