Collaboration With Drishti IAS conducted a workshop on How to prepare for civil service examination. The seminar fostered interactive discussions, enabling students to grasp complex concepts and clarify doubts. Drishti IAS experts provided valuable insights, study material recommendations, and exam-specific strategies, aiding aspiring candidates in their preparation journey. Attendees had the chance to interact with both the speakers and fellow aspirants, fostering a network for future collaborations and learning
The Seminar started with the Co-convenor of the Internship and placement cell, welcoming the guests Mr. Prashant Sharma and Dr. Deepshikha with a welcome speech.
Mr. Prashant Sharma addressed the students briefing them about the plan of action for their choice of career. He started with an interactive session with students with anecdotes, life lessons and real life examples.
He also quoted – “If the promise is clear, the prize is very easy.” Certain philosophical and their applications in the contemporary world were also discussed.
Then he started with the Question and answer round, wherein few questions were answered by sir and a few were left for Dr.Deepshikha to enlighten the students with, she also encouraged students to be very clear with their goal and how to approach their goal.
The stages of exam and their preparation along with the choice of optional subjects was discussed.
She also stated that first two attempts are very essential as the students are full of energy and motivation.
Dr. Deepshikha also conducted a newspaper reading, she elaborated on the techniques of reading a newspaper for the purpose of competitive examinations, referring to the Editorials and Opinion Editorials. She also told the students the newspapers to be followed for preparation.
The seminar ended with felicitation ceremony and thank you note from the Co-convener, Internship and Placement Cell.
