Event brief description – Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with School of Business, Galgotias University successfully organized " Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical thinking and Innovation Design” on 28 January, 2023, from 09:30 AM-08:30 PM.
Event Detailed Description-
More than 400 participants including UG and PG students and faculties of Galgotias University and other institutes were attended the session.
The session was started with Saraswati Vandana and Lamp Lightening Ceremony. In the first session, Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Associate Professor, Division of Clinical Research and Incharge IIC welcomed the invited speakers and participants. He informed about the functioning of Institute Innovation Council, Galgotias University and discussed the achievements with participants. Thereafter, he invited Prof. Anamika Pandey, Dean School of Business to address the gathering and given various task to students related to Design Thinking, Critical thinking and Innovation Design.
In the second Session, Prof. Sankar Mukherjee discussed the basics of Design Thinking, Critical thinking and Innovation Design and its importance.
In the third session, Partha Sen, CIPM, SaaS Product Maker, Google AI. reAI evangelist, CoreAI Lead Engineer delivered the invited talk and motivated the participants. He discussed the Design thinking mindset, the phases of Design Thinking and elaborated the Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. He also explained modern wallet design, smart wallet design.
During the question answer session, several participants asked their queries and got satisfactory answers. Some of questions are listed here:
- How design can be registered or copyrighted?
- how need is tapped or sampled with authenticity?
- How to maintain non-judgemental approach when we are undergoing collaborative teamwork?
- Sir can you elaborated innovation chatGPT design.
The session was ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Gaurav Kumar, In charge, Institution's Innovation Council.
