The International Conference on Recent Trends in Biosciences and Technology was inaugurated by Dr. Dheer Singh, Director and Vice-Chancellor, National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, Haryana, who served as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Brig. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Director, Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida, and Dr. Robert Green, OBE, University of Kent, UK. The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof. Avadhesh Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Galgotias University. Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha, Dean,
School of Biosciences and Technology (SBT) and Convenor of the Conference, extended a formal welcome and highlighted the vision and achievements of the University. Prof. (Dr.) R. S. Sharma, Distinguished Professor, SBT, and Co-Convenor of the Conference, elaborated on the objectives of the event, while Prof. Vinny Sharma, Professor and Co-Organizing Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks.
The two-day conference featured 14 scientific sessions, conducted in parallel tracks. The sessions included 10 keynote addresses, 34 invited lectures, 26 chairpersons, 4 industry talks, 8 young scientist presentations, 12 student presentations, and 90 poster sessions. The conference witnessed active participation from both national and international delegates, covering all major themes of biosciences and technology.

The conference attracted 437 delegates from leading universities, research institutions, and medical colleges across India and abroad, including AIIMS New Delhi, JNU, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, University of Hyderabad, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (J&K), National Institute of Immunology (New Delhi), Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (Jaipur), NIFTEM (Sonepat, Haryana), and several others.

A dedicated Industry–Academia interaction session was organized, with participation from leading companies including Bio-Rad Laboratories, BD Biosciences, Bloom IVF, DSS Image Tech, Beckman Coulter/ATCG-India, Imperial Life Sciences,
Imtek Cryogenic, and Eppendorf. This session facilitated productive engagement between industry professionals, delegates, and students, fostering opportunities for collaboration.
Over 90 posters were presented by young scientists and students, including international participants. Their work was evaluated by a panel of external experts, and awards were conferred to the best presenters in both Young Scientist and Student categories.
