The Seminar on Career Counselling and Guidance, organized by the School of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Galgotias University, commenced on the 26th of Sep 2024, at 1:30 PM in Venue D-001. The event aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to the BTech and MTech Mechanical students regarding their career paths and opportunities. The esteemed resource person for the seminar was Ms. Sweta Sahu, a Centre Director at TIMES, Greater Noida. Ms. Sweta Sahu is not only an accomplished educator but also a motivational speaker with a profound understanding of CAT (Common Aptitude Test), MBA (Masters in Business Administration). He has successfully qualified the GATE exam five times and possesses over 6 years of teaching experience in GATE/ESE/PSU preparation.

Mr. Chhabra's educational background includes an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from the esteemed institution, Delhi Technological University (DTU). He strongly emphasizes that success in competitive exams is not solely reliant on subject knowledge but also on cultivating a positive and motivated mindset. This philosophy has led him to engage actively with students, providing both academic support and motivation throughout their educational journeys.

During the seminar, Mr. Chhabra shared invaluable insights into the various career paths available to Mechanical Engineering students. He discussed the significance of competitive exams such as GATE and ESE, shedding light on their structure, preparation strategies, and career opportunities post-exam.
