Galgotias University proudly announces the launch of Sakhi – The Menstrual Companion App, now available on the Apple App Store. Developed under the guidance of the iOS Development Center, this pioneering mobile application is a student-driven initiative aimed at empowering menstrual health awareness and support through technology.

The journey of Sakhi began during Galgotias University’s iOS bootcamp, organized in February 2023 under the iOS Development Center — a joint initiative powered by Apple and Infosys. The app was conceptualized Karan Kumar and Arpita Gupta Student of B.Tech CSE, Batch 2021–2025, Galgotias University not as a project, but as a mission to break the taboo around menstruation and create a safe, supportive digital companion for women.
