SOLE CAREER GUIDANCE SERIES (CGS) 2024 --“Workshop on Resume Writing Skills and Professional Etiquettes”

School of Liberal Education (SOLE), Galgotias is always striving to make its students industry-ready and gives every possible exposure for the same to its students through internships and placements. To facilitate, possibilities of internship opportunities to students of Political Science Department, a briefing session was organized on July 28, 2024 (Sunday) for the students whereby Dr. Priyanka Jain, SOLE Internship Coordinator and Dr. Chandra Sen, Internship Coordinator, Department of Political Science briefed together the students on the process and compliances required for Internships at SOLE. 

The complete initiative was taken under the SOLE Career Guidance Series 2024 whereby the next day, on July 29, 2024, a Workshop was planned, titled, “Resume Writing Skills and Professional Etiquettes” whereby Dr. Priyanka Jain, Resource Person cum Instructor guided students on preparing resumes and strategies for identifying their hard skills and soft skills. Samples of resume format also were shared with the students. Further, Dr. Chandra Sen, Resource Person cum Instructor discussed with students the need to prepare good and correct resumes.

Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Parasar, Dean SOLE who graced the occasion as Guest of Honor as invited by the Internship Committee motivated the students to be part of the school Career Guidance initiatives and make the best use of it. She advised students to adhere to the guidelines shared by the 2 Resource Persons. 

The Workshop ended on a positive note whereby 42 students asked many queriers pertaining to internship from the Resource Persons. The Career Guidance Series 2024 is going to come up with more initiatives in which experts will also be invited to give all round exposure to the students.
