Event Date: 17-04-2025

Event Detailed Description- On 17th April,2025 expert talk was organized in room number C102, Galgotias University. The event was organized with the objective of shedding light on emerging and traditional research themes, particularly focusing on the integration of Artificial Intelligence(AI), Sustainability, and Humanities. Participants included students, scholars, and faculty from various academic backgrounds, aiming to explore the potential of interdisciplinary research.

The event began with an insightful session onTypes of Research Themes, outlining the broad scope of modern and traditional topics: Artificial Intelligence was introduced as a rapidly advancing field, encompassing cutting-edge areas like quantum computing, neuromorphic computing, and AI-based automation. In contrast, Sustainability was discussed in terms of longstanding challenges and approaches, focusing on methodologies developed over the past 10–20 years. The session highlighted how both areas, although different in evolution and approach, offer rich research opportunities—especially when examined through the lens of humanities.

The second half of the event centered around the importance of conducting research in various humanities disciplines, emphasizing their evolving role in understanding and shaping society. Research in English focuses on literature, communication, culture, and identity construction. Scholars discussed how literary texts and cultural narratives influence societal norms and values. Economics research is pivotal for addressing real-world issues such as poverty, inflation, resource allocation, and government decision-making. Its intersection with technology and sustainability was also explored. The role of political science in power distribution, policy formulation, and resolving political conflicts was emphasized. The importance of political frameworks in implementing AI and sustainability policies was also discussed. Research in foreign languages includes translation, interpretation, and studies on globalization and international collaboration. The growing need for cross-cultural communication in a connected world was highlighted. Psychological research delves into human behavior, mental processes, and societal challenges such as addiction, discrimination, and mental health. Its synergy with AI for behavioral modeling was explored. Sociology was presented as crucial for understanding social problems, public policies, and promoting social cohesion and inclusion. The use of AI tools like ChatGPT in sociological research was demonstrated. A special session was dedicated to exploring how ChatGPT and other AI tools can support various stages of the research process eg. Choosing a research topic, Formulating objectives and research questions, Data collection and analysis, Interpreting results and drawing conclusions.
