Poster Making competition on “women’s empowerment”

School of Education, Galgotias University, Greater Noida organized a poster-making competition for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) on “Women Empowerment” on 24.08.2024. The objective of this event is to encourage students to think creatively about gender equality and women's rights. Also, develop awareness about the importance of women's empowerment. The event marked the students toward gender equality goal no. 4, i.e., ‘gender equality’ as enshrined in sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Event Detailed Description

Women's empowerment is a crucial aspect of creating a just and equitable society. Poster- making allows students to express their thoughts and ideas visually. This activity promotes creativity, self-expression, and communication skills. It allows students to engage with social issues and develop empathy.

Competition Details like the number of participants: 

Thirteen B.Ed. final year students enthusiastically participated in the poster-making competition, making this event a resounding success. It encouraged students to think creatively about women's empowerment, developed their artistic skills, and fostered teamwork. This activity is relevant today, where gender equality and women's rights are essential for creating a just society. We look forward to conducting similar events in the future.
