PITCH ME 2.0, hosted by Entrepreneurship Cell, Galgotias University, was a dynamic platform bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs and industry leaders. Focused on innovation and collaboration, the event featured startup pitches, investor interactions, and mentorship opportunities. It celebrated the spirit of entrepreneurship, inspiring the next generation to turn visionary ideas into reality
n the 11th of January 2024 at the Swami Vivekanand Auditorium, with 20 carefully selected teams ready to showcase their innovative projects. The evening began with a grand entrance of esteemed guests, including Khalid Wani, CEO and Founder of KWCG; Ms. Bahu, an Ex-Google Employee and Venture Capitalist; Trina Das, CEO of Trinzz and White House Honoree; and Dr. Vishal Gandhi, Founder and CEO of BIORx Venture Advisors and Chief Ideator at Indian Healthcare Angel. The Pro Vice-Chancellor of Galgotias University, Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, also graced the occasion. The core team and heads of the Entrepreneurship Cell escorted these dignitaries to the auditorium. Dr. Avadhesh Kumar set the tone for the event with an inspiring speech, welcoming the guests and encouraging the budding entrepreneurs in the audience. The formalities continued with the guests being presented bouquets as tokens of respect. The lamp lighting ceremony followed, featuring the guests, Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, and Vishal Kumar Diavisine, the President of E-CELL. The speaker sessions commenced as each investor was invited to share insights and experiences on the stage. The main highlight of the event was the pitch sessions, where each of the 20 teams presented their ideas in front of the investors. The Q&A sessions that followed provided valuable feedback and allowed teams to showcase their strengths and address their shortcomings. Some startups managed to capture the attention of the investors, leading to potential mentorship and investment opportunities. After the conclusion of all pitches, the core team, consisting of Vishal Kumar Diavisine, Saksham Chawla, Atharva Srivastava, and Vansh Taneja, took the stage to express gratitude to the investors. They presented momentos and goodies as tokens of appreciation. The investors then participated in judging all 20 startups, ultimately declaring the top three winners. Team ZINIKUS secured the 1ST position, winning a cash prize of 5000 along with goodies. Team CHADNI CHOWK DELICACIOUS, the 1ST runner-up, received a cash prize of 3000 and goodies and Team MYSTRANGER.IN, the 2ND runner-up, received a cash prize of 2000 and goodies. Additionally, the top 10 teams were also recognized and rewarded with goodies. As the event concluded, the guests were escorted back to their respective vehicles, marking the end of a successful and inspiring edition of PITCH ME by Entrepreneurship Cell, Galgotias University. The event showcased the university's commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, providing a platform for them to turn their ideas into reality.
