Here Galgotias Sustainable Society (GSS) planned to conduct this event , In this Event our main focus to distribute Lassi at India Gate, New Delhi. The event aimed to offer free, natural refreshment to visitors while spreading awareness about eco-friendly living and sustainable practices in public spaces.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

At around 12:00PM at venue India Gate, New Delhi GSS conducted a event named Lassi Distribution collaboration with UNITEUP NGO. In this Event our Main focus was to distribute Lassi and offer free, natural refreshment to visitors while spreading awareness about eco-friendly living and sustainable practices in public spaces. Event started with a motivational speech by Coordinators and Head. Students started to distribute lassi packets over 400 packets of lassi distributed within one hours. Members also initiated friendly conversations with visitors, explaining how small lifestyle changes, such as choosing natural beverages over bottled ones, can significantly reduce plastic waste.Once the distribution concluded around 1:00 PM, the volunteers immediately transitioned into clean-up mode. Equipped with gloves and collection bins, they meticulously cleaned the area to ensure no waste was left behind.

EVENT OUTCOME

To promote sustainable practices and eco-friendly alternatives to plastic-packaged summer beverages by distributing homemade lassi in reusable or biodegradable cups. The event aimed to spread awareness about traditional cooling drinks and their environmental benefits.
